The walls are no-see-um mesh for adequate air circulation and are covered with a full fly that provides vestibules at either entrance.
The ALPS Mountaineering Taurus 2 measures 5’x 7.6’ and sleeps up to 2 people, but is manufactured in various sizes. The rain fly and tub floor are PU coated and seam sealed. In addition, the fly provides vestibules for storage space. The tent is 3’10”, which allows adequate space for campers to sit upright comfortably.
The ALPS Mountaineering Osage is a 3-room tent that measures 10’x 16’. The tent includes 2 room dividers to section off the tent. The rain fly and tub floor are manufactured with PU treated sealed seams for moisture protection. The fly provides awnings over the doors to divert water. The front door hinges for easy entry and exit. The interior of the tent contains mesh pockets and a gear loft for storage.
The ALPS Moutaineering Extreme 3 Outfitter measures 6.5’x 8’ and sleeps up to 3 people. The tent is manufactured with heavy duty #10 zippers and a nylon oxford floor. The total package weighs 8 pounds, as the tent is assembled with aluminum poles. The rain fly and tub floor also have weather protected PU coating and sealed seams. In addition, the rain fly provides 22 sq. ft. of extra storage space.
The ALPS Mountaineering Tri-Awning measures 15’x 15’ x 15’ when fully extended, but the size is adjustable for optimal sun protection. The structure stands 6’ tall and the fabric is UV resistant. The total package weighs 11 pounds, which makes it convenient to use in the yard or at the beach.

The History of the ALPS Mountaineering Company
Dennis Brune spent years working for the Kelty company in central Missouri, until he decided to change careers to provide time for his growing family. Brune established ALPS in 1994, including product designs based on his own experience and later incorporating the needs of customers. Today, his wife and children are a part of the business in addition to a number of loyal employees. The company starts with a basic product design and improves upon it to provide an excellent product that accommodates a greater number of budgets.
